So, I've made this new track called Faulty Choirs and it's available for all to see if you go here; http://vimeo.com/1874756.

The video is directed and animated by Rafi Nizam. He did the whole thing on his own in his home studio whilst holding down a full time job so I'm incredibly grateful for the massive amount of work he's put in for gratis.

I did write a detailed blog about the how and the why of it all but on reflection it doesn't make interesting reading. So instead I'll post a couple of images from the sleeve of the record of the children in the song. That'll do more to add value to the track than anything I could write in my humble blog.

Also you may like to download a desktop wallpaper, there's 5 to choose from and you can get them by visiting my site; www.osymyso.com (all artwork by Rafi Nizam)

After a deep trawl of my record collection, I've uncovered my rather battered copy (charity shop find from a trip to Holland a few years back). There's a cover version of an ABBA track (can't remember which one now) at the end of side 1 which really tests your listening staying powers! The choir is so high pitched I swear only mice can make out the words.

Good to see Osy's plundered an LP which is very far removed from the usual sample-friendly material everyone else seems to be hacking about with...and still managed to turn it into something truly brilliant!

Well thank you, I'm glad you appreciate the effort I put in to make wrong things a little less wrong.

Keep hold of that LP, I binned mine along with about 1000 other charity shop records. I took the samples I liked and scanned the sleeves just in case there was ever a need to clear the samples (ha ha).

Also check out the blog entry I'm about to make, someone has informed me that the original song (from Israel) won the 1979 Eurovision song contest so I found the vids on You Tube...
