Come Sail With The Band Of Banditos!

Joblito Y El Banditos, or Hoblit and the Bandits is the remnants of  shattered shell of the former Ghost Town Gridlock. In fact, we can take the symbolism further and say that Hoblit's, or Joblito's Banditos will be nothing more than individuals that are a part of the shattered Tampa Bay music scene.

Joblito is on the same quest he has been on for quite some time. To create that wonderful, glorious, quinessental punk rock album of perfection. Unfortunately, this journey has had its good times and its bad, its ups and its downs, it's perverbial roller coaster if you will. Well, Joblito has had enough of this 'practice up until its down' type of time wasting mentality. Live projects require a never ending cycle of practicing material for the next upcoming show or event. Live projects move slow when it comes to getting four or five people on the same page at the same time in the same room. It's a lot of hard work just to gamble for a pat on the back or another night of disappointing return. A lot of the time its just for a handful of drunk folk who just put their hands together for the sub par hardcore band that just played before you. You put it all out there for that one drunk guy who tries to sing, no... scream into the same microphone he's prying towards his rotten cheap beer breath. And that is considered a good night.

No, frustration has set in and the need for this elusive recording of punk purity must be obtained. Joblito is sailing to new lands to dig up new material and recruit fellow ... to share his vision. Together they will gather and build a new temple to house a collection of hidden jewls, golden nuggets, and milky pearls of punk.

Bread Box Studios will be opening it's arms to any explorers that want to sail with this expedition. While this will be a Joblito intensive project, it will also be a very collaborative one. Other song writers and musicians, Banditos if you will, are very welcome on these waters. If you are interested in joining this band, this band of banditos, then please eye the contact information at the bottom of this scroll.
