worked on a demo song this friday. Black Patent Knee High. I kicked the uke into high gear with my new tube amp and a ribbon mic. Nice combo... a bit of hum due to some grounding issues in the basement cave studio... but all in all I kind of liked the mood of the outcome. I wrote the song and then title it... Its what I see when I hear it. (thinking) It would be kind of fun to do a inanimate object music study... a collection of works devoted to simple everyday items... Not that Black patent knee highs are eveyday items... but they sould be- (away from tangent now) For instance this perscription drug bottle of Metoprolol (blood presure) in front of me has a song in it... hell I could use the bottle as a shaker. (only two pills left - ill have to wait for a refill). I think its going to be easier to write the song and then attribute it to something... then of course it changes a persons relationship to the song. Titles - influential.
