Tomorrow we, in America, face what is likely to be one of the most important elections in our history.

Our next president will fill at least one Supreme Court vacancy, and possibly as many as three.

Our next president will be taking over during the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression.

He will assume office in the middle of two wars waged by his predecessor- each justified by lies and mired in hubris, bad choices and failure.

He will make policy on the environment, energy, immigration, health care, education, abortion, and gay civil rights. He will directly determine our course in Iraq and the other so-called "axis of evil" nations. He will pose, through his policies, a significant influence in our lives and the lives of generations to come.

Most of the people "friended" here are "minorities" of one shade or another. As it is not unwisely said, "a minority voting Republican is like a chicken voting for Colonel Sanders." I think I'm preaching to the choir, but in case I'm not: please don't be a dink. A vote for the Republican party is a vote for discrimination, theocracy and bad economic ideology. Your vote will have real consequences. Be careful with it.

While I find him an imperfect candidate, my endorsement is for Obama. Aside from my more personal convictions about the Republican party and its constituents (you already know that vitriol by now), we absolutely cannot afford to place ourselves in inept hands during an economic catastrophe. The ripple effect of continued failure will be devastating.

Whatever your choice, make it. Don't walk away from it.
Get to your polling station tomorrow.
VOTE.
