Hi Everyone!

It's been so long since I've posted a blog...
I just wanted to write to you and give you an update!

I have been writing like crazy....ever since I signed my new publishing deal with John and Martina Mcbride. The new publishing company name is "Little Champion Music." I love that name! It was Martina's idea...and I think it's perfect! I've been writing with so many talented writers, artists and producers. and have been having an amazing time! The Mcbride's studio, Blackbird Studios, is such incredible place to write and record....I couldn't be happier!

I've also been on a few writers trips...to Sweden, London, Norway and LA....and have made some incredible new friends and written with some amazing writers! So much going on that I'm so excited about....and so many things in the works I can't wait to share with you!

I'm very thankful for everything going on in my career...God is SO good!

Today I've been planning my writing trip next week to LA....running errands around Nashville, and enjoying my back yard. After living in a tiny apartment for 10 years, I appreciate my back yard more thank I can explain! The birds are so beautiful....and there are ducks (we named them Howard and Sally) and a Crane (Bob) that come to visit almost every day....they love the little river that runs through our back yard.

Oh, and I'm now in the middle of "New Moon" (the book that follows "Twilight," and I love it!
I'm reading the series with all of my friends and it's a lot of fun! I've never been part of a book club...so I guess this is the closest thing to it :)

We've also found an AMAZING new church in Nashville called "Oasis Worship Center" and I can't tell you how much I LOVE that church! Pastor Danny's messages are always so incredible and the worship music is unreal! If you live in Nashville you should definitely check it out...
I come from a Lutheran background, but it's a non-denominational church and I know there are people from EVERY background there. It's a wonderful, non-judgement accepting church and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

I posted a new song "Closing Circles" from my last writing trip to Sweden. I love to write and sing many different styles of music, and this style is something I haven't shared with you before. I hope you like it!
