The GROUND CONTROL Drunk Driving Prevention Campaign is proud to announce that Margot MacDonald will be its 2007/2008 spokesperson.  Selected from thousands of potential musical artists from across America, Margot will appear in a series of drunk driving prevention advertisements.  These ads will be released throughout the year and presented to the nation's young people in over one hundred US cities.  The Ground Control campaign, which is being created and funded by Boston-based Illumina Records, is a first of its kind.  Never before has music been used as the major tool in reaching teenagers and young adults relative to drunk driving prevention.  In addition to appearing in the print and internet based advertisements, Margot will also perform in a series drunk driving related concerts.  "I consider this an opportunity of a lifetime" says Margot.  "A completely unique set of circumstances that will allow me, an unsigned artist, to use my music to make a difference."
