If you're one of our Irish pals, doubtless you know this already, but sadly the legendary Road Records in Dublin is closing down in the next couple of weeks.

It's incalculable how important Dave and Julie and their wee shop on Fade St have been to the Irish independent music scene, and with their demise, it's as if a vital artery has been slashed - the impact for small bands could be devestating. Yes, there are other small stores doing their best to support and stock independent acts, but Road really was the focal point and first port of call for a lot of people.

We, like most other bands in Dublin, are donating the proceeds from any sales of our stock in the shop before they close, hopefully they can pull down the shutters on their last day without too much debt chasing them, so if you're in Dublin, please do call in and pick up something.

Not sure if we'll be involved or not but plans are afoot for a major send off gig for them in a big Dublin venue, make sure and get to that too!
