So- after much deliberation, and after talking to a couple of folks whose advice spoke volumes to me, and after taking into consideration the advice I've gotten from everyone who read or heard about my pondering (Thanks for all the feedback!) on whether or not to tour the country again- I've finally decided that I'm going to DO IT! One of the folks I asked was Debbie Allen (at her wrap-party after shooting the Fantasia movie). The moral of her advice encouraged me to do the tour, but also have (if it came up)an option to be able to "fly out" and come back- which would be a "quick turnaround" to say the least. Being that she hired an actor who was involved with another show to do the Fantasia movie , it is possible to do both- so to speak.
But all in all, I think it'll be fun to go on the road and see the country again. This is also a great show that I love to do that I just couldnt pass up. I really appreciate Dir. Sally Fiorello (Dallas Children's Theater) for believing in me enough to cast me for the show and tour a year ago without an audition. That's a blessing! It's a cast full of wonderful actors who can sing! So make sure you come check out "A Midnight Cry" in a city near you. Tell your friends too!
Thanks a bunch,
Rhi
