just to get it out there... It amazes me that we incarnate with perspective so distorted that as life lessons pass one after another we continue to believe our experiences and the roles played therin. I don't think I have met anyone who has ever seen from someone elses shoes... and yet we use the expression that we should try seeing from where other people are standing. I know that we can share experiences and can try to relate by doing so, but I still don't think it really ever happens. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to sound like life is a hopeless lonely experience, I just think that we spend to little time cherishing our own generated mindstate and too much time longing to "be one" with the people around us, and that stimuli gets us in the feeling of seperateness in which we want to avoid. Seperate unions, an oxymoron in words, attract my attention more and more as my mind and heart peels away layers of my assumed being. As a painter, I like most about my process the conversations I have with the many changing aspects of my own awareness and then visiting others with my work as a "disinterested third party". Just listen to all the psycho-babble! Blah, blah, blah.... the artist was trying to do this and that here, and it suggests this here. I love all the seperate unions in the world and how it changes our original perspective. Then in our minds eye we chalk some more words into the memory bank and call it our "experience". Silly me, I wonder what really happened all those years, and now I know where all those years went... Ha! I just wanted to put out there a disclaimer for humanity.... Chant not the cliche', and choose your own adventure!
