Hello there
Reviews are starting to come in for 'Tavistock Street' and I'm pleased to say that they have been very good indeed. The I94 Bar gives it 4.5 stubbies out of a possible 5 (sounds much better than 4.5 stars doesn't it??). Have a read here
http://www.i94bar.com/reviews/greencircles.html One quote I like from the review is "...makes you think you're stumbling down Carnaby Street circa 1965 with a headful of bennies and a heartful of hope, but the songs are deft and dynamic enough to lift them well clear of accusations of mere revisionism. So if you liked the second
Rhino "Nuggets" box set, you'll love this."
And how can I fail to mention the Adelaide Muse. A mystery man on the scene who has some very nice things to say about the album here
http://www.myspace.com/theadelaidemuseI also like the description of the CD at Redeye Records in Sydney "
New 2008 album from Adelaide Mod-ernists! Sweet 60's sounds with a smart Antipodean crease in the trouser."If you haven't got it yet, these reviews should be just the push you need.love
