So i had this hare-brained idea of playing my bass at car shows when i put my
Aguilar Bass amp in the back of my car. The Cabs fit perfectly!!

So to take my bass-playing-at-car-shows idea even further....I decided to color-match my old squire PJ that i've had since high school...
here goes...

removed the paint and used actually body paint from my car

the MIDI pickup-controls are now mounted to the back:

It turned out really great and it'll turn heads at shows for sure. I wasn't as easy as the photos make it out to be though. I had to redo the paint 4 times!!! the first time the orange flaked and peeled right off....the second time the Green came off with the painters tape! 3 the clear coat ruined the orange finish completly by dissovling it upon impact...and time number four? Well i was allllll done and ready to clear the paint...then WOOOSH the bass slipped from my grasp and smashed on the garage floor!! CRACK! the bass cracked all the way through in two places. I had to sand to bare-wood and fix the crack before repainting for the fouth time...
So after all that stress ... i think it was worth it!
anyway...
