Hey and Howdy Folks!

I've never taken the time to write a blog here, haven't had much occasion to, but I've come to a desicion that I want to share with everyone.

This is going to be a group project, one that requires just as much out of my "fans" as it does out of me.  As most of you know, I'm a "Cover Queen."  It's what I do.  I'm not against original music, but I can promise you 9 times out of 10 when I am workin in a club or bar, with 100 drunk people listening to me they want to hear something they know.  That's why I usually do top 40 Country and on occasion throw some rock or pop in.

As comments to this blog I'd like each of you to find your favorite country song and leave the title and artist as a comment below.  I'll keep track of them all, and in the next month I'll start recording and posting the song(s) that is/are requested most.  They'll fully be available for download, so you can take em anywhere you want, and I'll even have them posted on my website, www.heathfitzgerald.com

So, everyone put your thinking cowboy hats on, decide what you want to hear from me, and if humanly possible, I'll get it out to ya.....

Let's get the music going folks.....

Big Excited Cowboy Hugs,

Matthew Heath-Fitzgerald

He mentioned he did it, but also isn't all that big on doing Alan's material. Nice to know he did a good job on JukeBox!

Wow, what an exciting project you are undertaking. But there are so many songs I love to hear you sing. How about 'Take Your Shoulder From The Wheel' or 'A Different Kind of Gone'? But really, I think I would enjoy hearing you do just about anything sung by Patsy Cline. 'Walking After Midnite' or 'I Fall To Pieces' or 'Sweet Dreams' would be wonderful. And the thought of you singing 'Crazy'... Just wow.

Hey Matthew!

Since you are very handsome and have an ease about your sex appeal, I'd like to see you play that up some. Just a couple great covers for you to consider would be:

Your Man - Josh Turner

Must Be Doing Something Right - Billy Currington

Fall Into Me - Emerson Drive

Thanks for your consideration.

Best Always! :)

I wondered how long it would take "The Other Cowboy" to say something about what he thought I should do......I figured it would be something completely off the wall and dillelle.  I'll take all songs into consideration, but don't hold your breath J.

Cowboy Hugs,

Matthew

Matthew, I have done some more thinking about this, and thought I would like to hear you sing 'Locomotive' by Aiden James, and 'Stranded' by Eric Himan. I think your voice could add something new to these songs, both of which I like very much.
