The third semi-finals show of Big Dog 92-7’s “The Next Big Thing” country talent competition was held last night at The Pump Roadhouse in Regina, with four-piece group WYATT declared the winner. Three fabulous performances took place, with the judging panel having to choose between WYATT of Saskatoon, Blake Berglund of Kennedy, and Tim Toutant of Prince Albert. WYATT is currently working on their second album, and have been performing extensively for the past year (www.wyattmusic.com).

WYATT joins previously selected finalists Amy Nelson and Alex Runions, with the three artists moving on to perform in the finals on Sunday, June 28. These three finalists will present their original music for a panel of Canadian music industry professionals, vying for the chance to take their careers to the next level and win a custom-tailored prize package valued at more than $20,000 – including $5,000 cash PLUS options including a professional single released to national radio, showcasing for music industry professionals, hands-on career guidance, and an all-expenses-paid trip to the 2009 CCMAs in Vancouver.

On this exciting evening, one outstanding artist will be chosen to receive the grand prize package!
