This is kick ass stuff, and we also have special guests: David Ragsdale on violin for 2 tracks, performing some beautiful solos. David is best known for his band Kansas, true legends in the World of progressive rock, so, we're thrilled and honored to have his performances. We have Shawn Gordon, Tadashi Goto, Chris Brown featuring some great solos, plus Gaby Koss, Antonella, Zara, Cheryl Childs on guest vocals.
We decided to release the album's cover, depicting a darker Garden of All Seasons Artwork (track 6 - with over 15 vocal harmonies!), plus the Track Listing with a
mystery track as bonus, TBA soon...
Compared to Poles, what's different on A Strange Utopia? Well, first of all it's by far the album with the biggest production I've ever done. Second, musically it’s probably easier to get into for the general audience and at the same time much more complex/proggy and heavier.. How da hell did we manage that? Well, judge for yourselves once it is out, but it's true, it’s a huge album, epic, faster than Poles, more diverse, much..er..much more yes, and rockier as well, still featuring the hallmark of FoD, that is great melodic sense and some shivering moments that make your skin crawl, hopefully.
There's a big track called E-motions that runs an almost total of 10 minutes. The track is divided into 3 parts.
Thought I'd also mention one track called
Sonic Sensations. Imagine a World created by Sound and Music, a Sonic World. About this track all I can say is that melodically it is one of the most beautiful tracks we've ever done.
We shall release a cool preview/medley late August, before the actual pre-ordering & official release. So, stay tuned! Oh, and pls subscribe to our Youtube channel
