It's Tuesday and it's wet and windy.
It's only 20 miles to get to Kirriemuir and the session at the Three Bellies Brae but it's a keich night.
Andy and Ian are up for it so I guess I'll go. Plus Andy's driving so that means we can get a few points in. You don't seem to mind the weather so much after a few pints.
I dare say those of you reading this in the States, in Canada or in Oz will laugh at the 20 miles to Kirrie but, hey, Scotland's a small country and distance is relative. Well not my relative but I know a woman who has a brother called Relative. When she talks about what he says she always begins 'relatively speaking' but then she's a bit of a bore.
As I type, Alison Krauss is belting out 'Ghost in this House'. She's not actually here in case that's what you think I mean. She's sitting in my iTunes. She gets better with every play. Must be like whisky. If it's laid down for some time the taste improves? I wonder if ...
I see from my Party Shuffle list that Ronan Browne and Flogging Molly are coming up soon.
Isn't life good?
Maybe I'll just stay in?
