On Wednesday afternoon I recorded a phone interview with Brett and Rennie Sparks, the Handsome Family. We talked about their new album Last Days of Wonder, touring with Curt Kirkwood, house boats, being in the Jim White-narrated film Searching for the Wrong-Eyed Jesus and much more. And yes, I'm going on hiatus as I go on vacation. This Sunday, July 9th's episode of Extra Mayhem will be hosted by the wonderful Kathy Clark and the following Sunday's Extra Mayhem by the fantastic Super B.
