At last a bit of news to report.  Most of you probably already know this from following my bandmates Myspaces but Blind Cave Salamander has two releaases out this past month.  First there is the second full length studio album - Troglobite, which has been released by our Swiss friends Shayo.  Second is the wonderfully packaged special edition release of The Nietszche Fabrik Sessions / Transmission by Radical Matters.  This is a two part release: the first part being a recording of the site specific performance that Salamander did for Nietszche Fabrik in 2008 as part of the Torino World Design Capital festival, the second part being the same piece broadcast and re-recorded using FM and SW radio signals by Pietro Riparbelli/K11 inside the Etruscan necropolis of ancient Kysra.

In other project news, yet another new project seems to be taking flight.  This time a loungy, funky, heavy metal project between Beauchamp, Fabrizio Modonese Palumbo and Andrew Liles (Nurse With Wound).  This was originally intended as aperitif background music during the PRE Final Fest in Rome but we enjoyed ourselves too much to let it stop there.  A short video of the performance can be seen here.  Thanks Claus!

Speaking now purely about myself the first of three EPs in the Sala B opera, Sala B: Rupture is now available for download through the Turinian netlabel Chew-Z with a special edition hard copy release available for purchase featuring a remix by Colin Potter (Nurse With Wound).  Work on the second edition has begun and is tentatively scheduled for release in early 2010.  There are several other exciting developments concerning Sala B which shall be elaborated on in the near future.

As far as live is concerned a repeat performance of the onstage collaboration between Beauchamp, Palumbo and Jochen Arbeit (Einsturzende Neubauten) has been confirmed for January (check upcoming gigs for details) along with more Salamander scheduled for 2010.
