It's very nice to be able to announce the return of the Recycle Collective to Darbucka, for an October show featuring fabulous keyboardist/guitarist Patrick Wood and drummer extraordinaire Roy Dodds.

Patrick Wood has for years been a highly respected keyboardist and guitarist on the London scene, leading his own band, the Works (formerly WoodWorks) which features Mark Lockheart of Polar Bear on Sax, along with drummer Nic France and bassist Neville Malcom. Patrick's writing and improvising are infused with a deep sense of melody, rooted as much in the influence of songwriters such as Joni Mitchell and James Taylor as in the melodic fusion of Joe Zawinul and Wayne Shorter. He's a regular visitor to Recycle Colletive gigs, and it's always a special show when he joins us.

Roy Dodds is a hugely versatile drummer, equally at home in the gentle acoustic world of singer/songwriter Eddi Reader or in Theo Travis' new heavy blowing fusion project Doubletalk. He's a drummer of immense skill and taste, renowned for knowing just the right thing to play at the right time, making him the perfect Recyclist!

See - fab. No possible reason not to want to be there, is there? :o)
