What would the Birmingham Comedy Festival be without a number of fine shows at The Glee Club? Hmmm? Nothing, that's what.
Lucky, then, that The Glee Club has once again produced a batch of fine names for the 2008 festival...
David O'Doherty (Fri October 3rd) - a rare Midlands performance for this Irish stand-up, a master of both whimsy and surrealism. He will play songs on a tiny Casio keyboard. That's a fact.
Mark Steel (Wed October 8th) - he's clever and he's funny, thus making us all jealous. Increase your IQ as well as your laughter quotient as the witty brainbox comes to Brum.
Richard Herring (Thu October 9th) - you might know him as one half of cult duo Lee & Herring, or maybe just as that funny guy who says funny things. He brings his new show The Headmaster's Son to the festival, full of embarassing anecdotes from his school days. Hurrah!
Ticket prices range from £10 to £13, and you can book over at www.glee.co.uk. So go now, before these fine comedians sell out.
