ok this is stupid

a casting agency or modeling agency will never email you to offer you a role on a film or a 3 month modeling contract. there is more professional ways of handling that type of business. and emailing you claiming they overviewed any online profile of yours, even if it is on an acting or modeling-related site is not professional at all (anyways, most of those online acting or modeling profiles have your other contact info on it, so why the hell are they emailing you?!)

I have just received a 2nd email from a different scammer for me to take a 3 month modeling contract in the UK, from "psalm talent agency uk"... lmfao, scams are not that smart. who in the world will look at a picture of me and think I am a model.

If you ever have a question if an email is a scam.. just simply use good ol' google. type in the agency company, and somewhere on the 1st page of results should be some blog or site proving it is a scam

(same works with tv infomercial scams *cough* kinoki foot pads *cough*)

oh, and how about calling you? will that legitimize it a bit more? not quite! I had this guy call me, saying he thinks I am perfect for a role (just from looking at some crappy photos online... umm don't most people audition for a role?!) and also he said he is from central casting (which is one of the biggest extras casting agencies, so: 1. how is an agency casting extras going to cast an actual role? 2. I would expect more professionalism if it was a person from there, i sounded more professional then him.)

I just happened to be in line to register classes for college that day, so to end the call I told him I don't have a car so it is hard for me to get there (which is the truth.) Who knows what I would be getting into... only 3 things are filmed here, Movies, TV... and Porn. and my awful of luck would have landed me the 3rd choice... and there probably wouldn't be any girls on set... *shivers*

This is why jobs just don't come to you! I just happen to be very aware of scams and spam... god knows how many of you fall for that crap.
