As we are getting ready to load the van with out suitcases, some of the Miss Teen America pageant contestants came up to us and asked for our autographs and pictures. We gave them some tour posters and some cd's too. It suprised me that some of them actualy have heard of us.
So after all that we set out for our 4 hour drive to Memphis. When we got to the skatepark we unloaded all of equipment. The stage wasn't big enough to hold our equipment and the openers, so we unloaded it behind the stage outside of the huge garage door. This skatepark was in a big shipping warehouse, so it had these big garage doors.
So we played the show extremely well. This crowd was a tuff crowd. They pretty much all skated and didn't watch the show, but the ones who did watch us we won over.
My dad played next and as usual did well. He had the kids curious about what he could do, so he had a good crowd watch him.
RevMotha came up next to headline the show. The kids all gathered around the stage and on the ramps in excitement. There wasn't much movement in the crowd, but you could tell the kids enjoyed them selfs.
We later loaded up and headed out for the all night drive to Chicago, IL. I was riding shotgun to help keep Larry awake. We watched the video "Loose Change" on my laptop. We also hoooked the sound up to the cassette player so we could hear it louder. This video changed any thoughts I ever had on 9/11. I honestly don't know what to think about the whole thing. It's just so messed up. This video really got me to think. If you haven't seen this video, go do your self a favor and go find it on the internet!
