I made a comittment to try and write something on this blog on a regular basis, figuring that the more I do it the easier it will get and plus writing is writing - it can't but help the songwriting as we.. Also, it is turning out to be a great way to avoid work.... right on! I can use all the positive re-enforcement I can get.
 So I am beginning to get some writing done that doesn't suck... the first couple of weeks back at it are always such a drag... Next week I am going to start playing with some new folks and finally start the process of seeing if I can figure out how do  things the way I am imagining. I am going to try and start things out as just a three-piece and see how that goes. I have no idea how to handle some of the songs with only one guitar, soi it will require some thought and some stretching outside my comfort zone, but I figure that if I can make it work as a three-piece in a way that makes me happy, then whatever else I add will just make things that much better. That's the thought anyway, I'll let you know how it pans out...
