All Day Word Pray

If i could play with words all day I’d pray
I’d say aloud the words I’m feeling NOW
I’d try to find that one phrase
that would push me to improve my ways
If all day I could just play
I’d start my own JOE B. slang code
somthing you could never download
or even unfold like a love letter
it would be thicker then a dictionary
& only my close friends & peers
could comprehend and begin
to spread it ,imbed it into the entire zip code
you bet it would reach the travelers
on vacation they’d pick it up
and carry it thru out the nation
there would be words for him & her
the young , the old , the warm , the cold
the shy, the bold , causing laughter & learning
the fundamentals of hiphop
one open mic session at a time
the code would pop up everywhere like cell phones
then drum & bass ring tones would architect
the hip step of the masses and teachers in classes
with rose tinted glasses could see
whos fit equip then sent quick
to the office of principle ,
not for punishment , but for impowerment
and precise points of building a culture of love
would fly like a dove in a still picture
painted by a 5 year old vegetarian boy, it could be my boy Scorpio
who has decoded my slang to bring his twist to this sayn’

So If I could only play with words all day I’d pray
that as we relearn & reteach we reach the heart of each child
wild style, out of order , in order to hand them the whole truth
bothsides , the dark & the light , the out of sight, the insight , the dynomite
that could blow up in your face if it ever reached a crack pipe .hype
yea OKAY, so now you know that I write with a fight!
because I’m out in the streets with the freaks that come out at night
just like Jesus & you can bet they need us in the darkest places
where THE TRUTH has many different faces
that speaks in many different tounges
& yes this is just another ONE ......
so yea I’d have fun
