Our sticks are for use on a practice pad ONLY. They are for warming up and building your chops.

The sticks work in a few different ways.

1. If you're a touring drummer, they are a great warm up tool. Most of our artists take their jobs very seriously. They usually warm-up before a show, and our sticks provide the perfect warm-up. Think of it like a batter putting a donut on his bat while taking practice swings. That way, when he gets to the plate, his swing is that much faster. Our sticks work in much the same way. The added weight not only strengthens your muscles, but it prepares you to go on stage and shred. Wood sticks feel like air after warming up with our sticks. If used regularly, your endurance, stamina (hand, wrist, and arm wise), and stick control will greatly improve. Most of our artists go through their normal rudiment warm-ups, just with our sticks instead.

2. For a marching corps drummer, the sticks act as a great way to work on your power and chops. Want to power through a snare or quad solo @ 190bpm, while on the move, and never worry about fatigue or loss of stick control? Our sticks give you that power.

3. Also, the sticks are great for just the recreational drummer to build power and endurance with. A fifteen year old drummer from northern california just wrote me an email the other day telling me how he finally was able to pull off a particularly challenging fill after practicing with our sticks for a few weeks. Using the sticks correctly and regularly (like any weight training) will result in immediate results.

We're always here to answer any other questions you guys might have.

Aaron Gillespie...
Jordan Burns...
Kevin Sanders...
Ryan Seaman...

Just a few of our artists who are also Pro-Mark artists. Interestingly enough, they choose our sticks over the stick weights...I wonder why that is?

and just to clarify i was being sarcastic.  I have nothing against pro mark sticks.  I just dont see how you can compare the donuts to these sticks.

ive always heard practice like you would play, so why practice with the stick that you arent going to be using. its like practicing marimba with the butt end of the mallet. youre going to get use to a certain stroke, and when you go to perform it, the stroke wont be the same.

addressing daniel's comment.
we agree, you should practice like you play, when you practice or warm up with our sticks on a practice pad. you should be using the same type of strokes and technique as you would with regular sticks on a practice pad. the sticks are similar in diameter to most drumset sticks and actually feel good in you hands, rather than using big marching sticks or tying weights to you sticks that make them feel like broken broom stick handles. great question!

one of my friends has a pair of these and they are prety cool. and they are good for getting your chops up. these sticks definately help your chops, but thats not all drumming is about. so people stop saying they suck!! the only downside is the price :(. lower the price and ill buy em!!

weve only had 1 guy come back with a damaged pair of sticks. dave from the used completely thrashed a pair (and voided any warrantey haha!!) other than physically abusing them, like throwing them out of a moving car or leaving them on train tracks bad, they will last forever. besides that, they are intended for practice pad use only so you shouldnt have any problems.
