Sooo we all know how dan has his music blog.. well i thought i would start a movie blog??

and the first edition to Duane’s movie blog is... Across the Unvierse



Across the Universe is the best musical ever produced. It’s a movie structured around characters from beatles songs, and how the six influental characters come together after showing each individual characters roots on how they were raised and from where.
The first character and our main character Jude, (Hey Jude) is raised in liverpool and works at a shipyard living with mother, he sneak into America to find his father, a princeton employee. But the Proffesor Jude is seeking isn’t quite a proffesor, but rather a groundsmen and janitor at princeton.
Here Jude meets our second Character Max (Maxwells silver hammer) who they later become close friends until max is shipped off to the vietnam war, which also plays a strong role in this movie. Jude will come to fall in love with Max’s sister Lucy (lucy in the sky with diamonds) and they all end up moving to new york both the characters of Sadie (Sexi sadie) and jojo (get back) Sadie who is an up and coming singer and jojo her guitarist/lover.
This is there story of how they unite together, fall in love, and the protests of the vietnam war. They venture across america, piss some people off, make some new friends, and maybe start a revolution. There are also several references to other influential members of music such as janice joplin and jimi hendrix. Not to metion the vast majority of the movie percieved through the eyes of someone on lsd along with the characters.
All i have left to say is that this is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen and highly recomend it to anybody
