Hello all

It's been a little while, so I'll just go through what the band has been up to of late.  Mostly it's been organising the release (finally! why do album releases take longer than even recording the things?) of the new album in Europe on June 22.   'Ageless Decay' is our fourth full length album and we are very pleased to announce it is our favourite album in every way! 

There are two lots of exciting news first of all.  First of all, one of my all time heroes, Mike DiMeo, who sang on more Riot albums than any other vocalist as well as singing on the critically acclaimed Masterplan album MkII, handles the vocals on this album and suits the music brilliantly. His voice is not only powerful and soaring, but his emotive qualities and simply sublime. 

In an effort to put some distance between ourselves and the final product we also opted to send the album away to be mixed.  After talking to Uli Kusch the answer became clear, and we contacted the legendary Tommy Hansen, who's worked with the likes of Helloween, TNT, Pagan's Mind, Pretty Maids etc, andhe agreed to do it!

So what does this mean for the end product? Put simply, it's heavy, bombastic, dramatic, dark and cerebral, but still melodic and perfectly balanced with all of our influences, from the classic heavy metal, to melodic power metal, to progressive rock and metal and even a bit of technical thrash thrown in!

So look out for it on June 22 - the booklet looks amazing!  It will be available on this page at some point, and eventually we'll put it up on iTunes etc as well
