Hello hello. I guess this is the usual post-gig nonsense post.

Firstly, thanks to anyone who came to the Portland gig the other week. It was a pretty awesome night. The Winter Kings were really quite magic - none of us have ever seen them in their full electrified lineup and we were quite thrilled. Also Walkperson was obscenely charming and heartwarming...

Might I / In Paris / Haven’t You Heard / Clockwatchers / Silent Riots
we ran out of time to do Dress Me Up! alas! Chris really wanted to do Silent Riots and I don’t think we’ve played it in ages so it made sense.

The Portland is really quite amazig now. We’ve all been to some amazing gigs there (um... Editors, We Are Scientists, various Dawn Parade / Miss Black America / I Can’t Believe It’s The Ramsus Holmen Experience) but the sound is now just fantastic! Starting to feel old as i remember what it used to be like before the last time they redecorated.

We’ve been trying to work on new songs but it’s been slow. We’ve only managed two rehearsals and such. Theres lots of talk and ideas and some music to follow with it. It’ll take time but we’ll work it out.

Anyway, we’re doing a gig in London on the 12th (because I get everyone else to come to where I live so I don’t have to travel haha). And then we’re taking time off until June at the earliest - hopefully Strawberry Fair will be on the agenda and if some people are nice we’ll get to do some other festivals.... and gigs. And such.
