Current mood: thankful
Greetings!
So October is finally here! Yes this is nationals month, and I am so excited. I must say the time just zoomed by and a few extra weeks would be great but oh well, it is what it is.
September was an extremely busy month for me with all of the traveling and preparing for nationals I barely get any sleep these days. I kicked the month off with my MGOA sister Catia Lee Love at the club Jewel in Tulsa and it was a blast as usual. Tulsa is one of my homes away from home so I love being there. The Jewel is a straight club but the patrons are very friendly and it was awesome. I actually worked there twice in September and look forward to going back. That same week I also partied with my sister Bridgette Lee at the Boom where again I had a fabulous time. I love me some Bridgette. Thanks to the other girls as well for making it a wonderful night. I was also honored to become a part of the family at Phoenix Rising as a once a month regular cast member which I started in September as well along with the incredible Colby Roberts and Raven Delray. Thank you so much to the gang at the Phoenix for everything you do.
Later on the month I traveled to Lawton do a special birthday show to celebrate my big sister Vicki Dillard turning 45. It was a great show, lots of old faces all together again, you need to see things like that sometimes. I was also very honored to be a part of the Miss Capital City Usofa judging panel which was held on the 27. Congrats to Teekee Larue on winning as well as Isabella Vancartier on placing 1st alternate. This was an AMAZING contest. Kudos to Londenn Raine on a fabu reign. I also worked at the Wreckroom several times this month. I love working with the kids. They keep me on my toes. So as you see I have been busy, and on top of all of this, I had my regular Shows for the month and my roommates and I also moved into our new place so I have been running like crazy but that's how I like it.
I also want to say a few congrats, first to the newest addition to the Usofa family in Oklahoma: Parker Downtown, the reigning Mister Wreckroom was crowned Mister Oklahoma Usofa MI. He will go on to represent us at nationals. Also congrats to our Mr Oklahoma Usofa Warren G on placing 6 at nationals, you represented us well brother. And congrats to my daddies Jack and Steve on recieving best new preliminary at Mr Usofa.
I want to take a minute to thank everyone for all the support you have given me thus far In my journey as MGO Usofa at Large. It has been a struggle to get to this point but I am so thrilled to be representing you all at nationals next week. I am going to give it my absolute best and I know that you all will be cheering me on from all over. I am learning to cherish each day and just do what I can do, and like the best phrase I've heard all year: " live everyday like it's your birthday" I encourage you all to follow this. Until next month, everyone be safe and keep your eye out for updates on my page and bulletins.
