Went to Bury last night to see my favourite band The Wailin' Jennys. They are soooooooooo amazing. I didn't think they could get any better after the last time I saw them, but they did! They have been a major influence to me since I began playing and writing and to see them live and meet them after the show was fan dabby dosey I have never heard such tight harmonies, it's like they are joined together as they sing, they are phenominal, please check them out (see my top friends) and buy their album, you won't regret it.

They were supported by Rachel Harrington who is a favourite of Bob Harris's. Mine too now. She was great, and reaffirmed my belief that you can put on a great show being simply an acoustic guitar and a voice. She's touring the UK right now and her album is out now Called The Boot Legger's Daughter.
