The time has come!  The Dockyard Derby Dames are offering two Roller Derby Bootcamps to practice your derby skills and Tryouts for those interested in becoming 2009 derby dames or referees.  Here's the scoop:

BOOTCAMPS -- $5 (includes skate and gear rental)

• Sunday, 9/28, 8-10pm at the Auburn Skate Connection (1825 Howard Rd., Auburn)
• Weds, 10/1, 8-10pm at  the Auburn Skate Connection (1825 Howard Rd., Auburn)

Bootcamps are a fun way to get geared up and practice the basics of our growing sport with the Dockyard Derby Dames.  Rollergirls will be on hand to answer questions.  You'll want to wear clothes that are comfortable for working out and bring a water bottle.  Participation is restricted to those ages 18 & up. 

TRYOUTS -- Free of course! (Includes skate and gear rental)

• Sunday, October 5th from 8-10pm at the Auburn Skate Connection (1825 Howard Rd., Auburn)

If you would like to be a 2009 rollergirl or referee, please bring your ID and be ready to roll.  Potential rollergirls must be ages 21+.  Future Refs must be 18+.  Wear clothes that will be comfortable for working out and bring a water bottle.
