How much of me can you take? Because here is your chance to test your tolerance!

Saturday, Feb 7
Venture Bros. Panel: 6:45 – 7:45PM Panel Room 3 (1A08-12)
Venture Bros. Signing: 7:45 – 8:45PM Panel Room 3 (1A08-12)
WEEP LIVE at Don Hills 10:00 - 511 Greenwich St. at Spring St. "RSVP"

One day! 3 times the Doc! I dare you to see what's it's like with that much me in your life! And I warn you... I spend way more time than that with me and it's excruciating. Seriously, it's like a nightmare being around me that much. But I think you might be just a little tougher than I am with "more me". Why? I'm a complete pansy...

I love you,
Doc

I don't know... I plan about two weeks in advance. That thing is way too far in the future to make it into my 14 day brain-calendar.

Lie. That's my advice. Just lie. "Wow, that guy playing guitar really does look like Doc. Must by a type. Like a New York thing... Maybe.

Guess what worked? The truth!! Paired with excitement, I've learned that good friends allow you to be indulgent if you're coming to visit them for the weekend.
See you saturday!

How small a room will it be this year? They need to put the VB panel in the main hall!

I was asked... I said "Can I think about it, please?" And that's all I know at this point. I still have to "think about it".

*raises eyebrow* I think I can take it. Guess we'll find out...I'll see you Saturday, then, whether or not you see me!
(Whoops, that sounds creepy--I might as well lure your boyish charms to the back of my van and be done with it. Luckily for you, I own neither a van nor that can-do-it serial-killer attitude that pairs so well with such a vehicle.
)
An aside: for some, your 'pansiness' is a positive trait--Mister Rogers would say it makes you 'special.' ...And not in the retard way.

As a newbie to New York, is Don Hills easy to find or very far away? I'm kind of excited to see you in the wild instead of the D*C zoo. It's so rare to see a Doc Hammer in it's natural habitat. Or so I'm told.

You laugh, but I'm sorry to admit that my tolerance appears to be quite low. My head fairly exploded no less than 2 blocks away from the venue after leaving. Fortunately, I carry a tube of super glue around. I spent most of Sunday in a zombie like state.

Your album is good, thank you for making it and letting us listen to it. I enjoy your music and as an artist I hope all the effort you put into it was worth just me saying thank you.

Yes! That's the magic phrase! People seem to think that art comes pouring from another's ass like golden diarrhea. But it just doesn't (and thank god, because that sounds kinda gross). It's this thing that's labored over well past the stages of inspiration, reason, or even understanding. So after all that labor to make this "thing", you wonder why you bothered. But then someone gets it, and understands it. Someone believes in beauty the way you do. They thank you... Then you remembered that your art is a little postcard that says "Do you think as I do?" that you can't stop handing out.

Being a Doc virgin, I have no idea what my tolerance is. I'd have to start with the panel and work my way up.
Unless, I'm feeling daring, then I might try risking a triple hit! :)
Unfortunately, I won't be in your fine state of New York to test my tolerance anyway.
:(
Enjoy the convention and your performance.
xoxo

For some reason the sight of a GIF-y emoticon being associated with anything of yours is slightly bizarre. That spinning smiley is making me nervous; MySpace must have confused "working" with "deliriously tumbling self into hypnosis." In other news, have a good time and don't OD on too much you.

I'm just curious as to why MySpace thinks "working" is a mood. I can understand someone feeling industrious or motivated or dedicated to work or even in the mood to work. But I can quite wrap my mind around them thinking that someone would feel "working". That's like feeling "eating" or "urinating".

Still waiting for the off chance you and Jackson have business in Cincinnati. Would love to meet the two of you, after so much time spent trying to force our obnoxious feet into the soul grinder of the Adult Swim TBS HQ.

Successful or not, we've had little time to make progress, and less funds to travel.

If you do, rest assured, we will see you there.

Argh. I wish I lived in New York. Maybe someday you'll come to Seattle?? And I could give you loads of free coffee! I know what you're thinking, that that bribe would be so worth the ridiculously long trip. Maybe someday I'll make it up to New York...or San Diego.

I had the pleasure of enjoying 3x the Doc! The panel was amazing, Doc did a great job of keeping the laughter going. The only issue was that by the time I wanted to profess my love for doc and jackson at Don Hills I was pretty hammered and I think I came off like a drunken prom date. Either way, they were very kind I can't wait to see you guys again.
