Welll...to all the ACE fans ( you know who you were...you two...yesss you..dont be shy) ACE are officially bust. The good news is PARK FARM/Chinese Democracy is ready to go - i just need some money to put it out and it'll be all systems go.Plus there's a demo collection under the working title 'Jonny Tarot and the Songs of Monkey Island' that is hopefully going to be recorded proper with Dale Shearsmith and his pal Parko from Perth early next year.
As long as I've got spare time I'll keep writing songs so ACE will live on in one form or another- at the moment Stu and I are trying to fill two empty slots so if you're into this type of music and want to play-by all means send us a message, maybe we could get something together.
Thanks to everyone who came to the STONES night- we had a ball - and thanks to the dude who said we 'swaggered'-I've been doing it ever since - in the street, in the supermarket - my girlfriend thinks i have itchy testicles and poor balance- but she doesn't know that i have 'swagger'...by rocklore i should beat her up now but she's quicker and leaner than me so..i dont think so...
...if i get time i'll post some demos on the myspace page soon and with any luck have a proper website up sometime next year..yeh yeh no-one goes to myspace anymore but i'll be fucked if i'm going to become (or actually have the capacity to) become one of those people with a billion facebook friends - seriously - if you have that many friends there is something wrong with you or you are seriously lying to at least half of them - no-one can have enough personality to maintain 543 friendships...its wrong and you know it...stop it...
