Oh good lord, I hope not. Listening to her interview I have to say that she sounds a lot like the stoners that I used to tutor in microeconomics bullshitting their way through something. I coached them to bullshit their answers and I can smell it a mile away.
She's wants to get Georgia in NATO NOW. (WARNING WARNING!!!!) NATO has already been diluted to the point of meaninglessness, but there is absolutely nothing to be gained by involving ourselves in the affairs of all these pissy little Balkan countries. One of McCain's staffers is also a registered agent of Georgia.
She does get it right on energy policy, I'll give her that. Energy policy IS national security policy.
The Bush Doctrine? Watching her squirm and have an epic failure at answering this is just uncomfortable. This ought to have been lesson 1 in her briefings and it wasn't covered? The whole McCain team must hold their heads in SHAME. Epic FAIL. What this really shows is that she isn't even interested enough in foreign policy or national security policy--outside of Canadian pipelines--to familiarize herself with the basic terminology of the subject. The first Vice Presidential candidate in more than 30 years to have not met a foreign leader, perhaps even longer?
You can see Russia from Alaska...well isn't that special?
Her lies on that bridge to nowhere fiasco are well documented. A couple of legitimate journalists are reporting that under her administration in Wasilla, rape victims were forced to pay for the forensic kits. (Was this a policy that she inherited when she took office?)
No. Not just no, FUCK NO.
