I was in the shower just now and my mind, as it often does, started to wander......I started thinkin about writing another verse for the "On My Bullshit" Joint which I'm sure all of ya'll heard from my page (Sarcasm is a motherfukka, anyway) and I started thinkin about this upcoming showcase, I started thinkin about my cousin and how he's in his 30's and still trynna come out and he's been doin this since like damn, the late 80's, then my mind shot to Tupac. See my cousin always been compared to Pac, kinda look like him. While I was thinkin about Pac, a thougth occured to me, Pac was meant to die because he was bigger than the rap game. Stay with me here my brain works in a weird ass way. Pac was an event. He encompassed so much in one being that his passing was inevitable, why? Because events never last forever no better yet they never last long. It's sad but true. Think about it. Everything about Pac spoke to a hightened sense, like he was put here to stir up shit and shake the world. Sounds dramatic but it is what it is. Then my mind shifted to the current "hot" (listen, you believe that shit if you want to) bigger than rap rapper Lil Wayne and another thought occured to me, is Lil Wayne better than Pac? Hell no, not even in terms of who's the best rapper alive, in my opinion Pac would still win, I mean in terms of what people would say......I've heard some pretty reckless shit folks. The thought that startled me most, besides the fact that Lil Wayne was in my thoughts in the shower (Trust me that shit ended quick and here I am writing this...) was that if somebody was to kill Lil Wayne right now, he would probably go down in history as arguably one of he greatest rappers ever. That shit turned my stomach! People would say it and some would believe it. Now I ain't the biggest Pac fan in the world, The country, the city shit even my borough or section but this I know 100,000,000% Lil Wayne could never be mentioned justifiably in the same breath as Tupac. Big. Pun. L. Jay....yeah, cuz Jay lowered himself and started dick riding Wayne and for that he lost a significant amount of my respect. Dead rappers get better promotion! Especially popular ones. Stack Bundles was 100x better than a whole hell of a lot of rappers out but you don't know about him because he died before he even got a major label deal. FYI he's the one that wrote "Ballin" for Jim Jones which was all over the streets, clubs shit even the NFL and NBA. So what I'm askin, beggin, is to spread the word. PLEASE, PLEASE, nobody kill Lil Wayne! at least not while he's still everywhere. I mean I would love to see him go away but not like that. I don't wish the man no harm just want him to disappear cuz I miss Hip-Hop and I can't turn on the radio, ( I mean I stopped mad long ago anyway when niguz started blastin snap in NY), watch video's(also same shit) or buy a magazine without this wack ass nigga all up in it. At one point I thougth he was good, way before the Carter II which is the second worse album I ever bought besides The Young Guns Brother from another. (WTF was that Jay?) LOL all that said, I'm gone remember Hip-Hop ain't dead it's on life support. Don't Terry schiavo the game.........
