In the middle of mixing my new album “One Good Thing” and
revelling in it. The songs were recorded at Andy Barlow’s place in a total of
about ten days over the past month or so.....
....
Things are a little hectic just now with so many Lamb shows
at the four corners of Europe so every spare moment is going into mixing.....
....
Really excited about the way it’s sounding. I think it’s the
most genuine expression of where and who I am I’ve ever been able to make.....
....
The past few years have been perhaps the most challenging
I’ve ever faced but through these challenges I’ve found a strength and
groundedness I never knew. I think more than anything I’ve realised that,
though precious things and people come and go in life, music remains a constant
and has quite literally saved my life on numerous occasions. This album is a
testament to that.....
....
So for those of you asking if my solo project will cease to
be a priority now that Lamb are playing live again the answer is a resounding
“NO”. My heart is in my music as it ever was and more. ....
....
One Good Thing will be released this autumn and a UK tour is
pencilled for late November. I hope to launch the new website once the mixing’s
done and I have a little more headspace to dedicate to that. ....
....
