True or false right or wrong
A beating heart still going strong
The memory is all we have
Sometimes we cry and then we laugh
And far below the waterline
Out of sight of prying eyes
We see the world is doing fine
Without the need of a disguise
On the surface it may seem
Like a twisted mixed up dream
And words can't say the things we mean
So look below the waterline

Who would know and who can say
We can't go back to yesterday
We had to turn our lives around
Bury the past beneath the ground
And just below the waterline
Our reflections go floating by
Waiting there for the sun to shine
Through the clouds in the sky
Did we make it to the shore
Or sink down to the ocean floor
Were we lost for evermore
Far below the waterline

We only see the mountain top
But just like time it doesn't stop
Beneath the waves it goes for miles
Beyond our tears hiding our smiles
Down below the waterline
Depending on how deep we dive
Although it may be hard to find
What we had is still alive
Some might say it makes no sense
Revisiting our innocence
I put it down to experience
To stay below the waterline

Win or lose sink or swim
That changing tide keeps rolling in
Where does it end or begin
Down below the waterline

What a fantastic Christmas gift. This is all we have been dreaming of since way back to that weekend in Worcester, MA. Words really cannot say the things that we mean... so we'll keep looking below the waterline. One word comes close though. LOVE!
Best to you and yours... your old friends Mary & Larry

Wow Denny. Great picture. That poem is amazing. Seriously emotional - thanks. Was the poem written before or after the picture was taken?

Great to see, Denny. The two of you made great music together. Always thought the London Town record was vastly underrated.

Life is too short to carry grudges, and it looks as though the two of you are past yours. Good for you. Now, how about some musical collaboration????

Merry Christmas,

Scott Reed

Right then! Alright Mr Hines lets have a new tune with the two of ya singing close harmony and some of those oohs and aahs as well. Preferably with some nice little guitars as well.
When do you think it will be done ? next week ?

It would be nice. Seriously nice to see the two of you warming up enough for the photo!
A tune would be nice.. Just thought I'd put that in the ether.

Best Wishes Jeff Cameron

We all take the time to hide
Waiting for a strong Spring tide
The chartered course has brought us far
Guided by a bright North star
The moon shines on the silvery foam
To light a path to guide us home
