and now the local news
flecton big sky is getting together with rolf klausener (he of the acorn) and jacob bryce (hereinafter referred to as jake and he is of fiftymen) to play a couple of shows in the local environs. one is an afternoon gig at the blacksheep inn in wakefield and the other is taking place at the raw sugar cafe in ottawa. the raw sugar show is at 9pm sharp as we must be done by 11pm.
the purpose of these shows and this triorific arrangement is two fold. one is to get out there and play some of the lesser played Flecton Big Sky selections that we don't perform when we are rocking out as a 5 piece and i thought it might be nice to play a few shows with rolf before theacornmania hits the UK.
for those in the know and wondering if there will be a manx valentines day show ... unfortunately the answer is no. i'm guessing that this is the end of a glorious run of 8 or 9 years of valentines gigs at the manx. i'd really love to thank EVERYONE at the manx over the course of these last years for some great valentimes.
