How do you put the world on "Pause"??
We are a few weeks away from the release of my new album "Reality."  I have been so busy, I just need to put the world on "Pause."  I'd love to hear your idea on how I can do that.  How do you suggest I put the world on "Pause?"  We will be reviewing all the suggestions.  The one we feel is the most realistic and creative will win a personal autographed cd of my new album "Reality."
We will take the last entry at 12 midnight eastern standard time Monday,  April 20, 2009.
Please submit all entries on www.myspace.com/mcclendonlisa , my blogs, in the comments attached entry "WIN an autographed cd from Lisa McClendon."

Hey Lisa, Just stop back by Palatka... that whole town STAYS on pause. I went there to see my parents for Easter and thought I was in a time warp! (Just kidding Palatka people) Good luck with your album.

This is how you put the world on PAUSE - Go get a TIVO system and turn to "Heroes" and when the world spins in the intro of the show press the pause button- and sit back and realize that, that is the closest that you will get to controlling the flow of the world- and that there is no point resting until you get to the eternal resting place- when you've completely grasped that, get up , and get back on the grind

A suggestion on how to put the world on PAUSE, is by taking ones mind into that place of sanctity. What do I mean by that? I mean close out everything from the mind.... yes with all the world's problems it is possible. That place of peace and tranquility has to found! Focus the mind and heart on the things outside of this world.

The word pause is defined as a temporary stop or break and in this case a stop or break from the world - from your daily activities and stresses of the world. To me being on Pause is a function of the mind. We allow ourselves to stay active, be involved in daily activity...that's how we function as people. Being active and sociable is part of our survival. The Bible is full of story about people who have been through every imaginable sort of situation possible. Situations will occur in our lives and they are cause by things that take place in the world. These stories encourages us and helps us make it through. But it doesn't just stop with the stories in the Bible, God has given us pray. Pray allows us to talk and to listen, to thank and release our frustrations. I am very guilty of going and going and in need of a pause. My way of pausing is 1) create "me time". we will drive ourselves in the ground if we don't take "me time". "Me time" is time away from work, routine activities, and none relaxing individuals. We all need it. My "me time" is usually at the spa or with my book club but I love to travel and put the world on pause. Also 2) Mediating - mediating in a closed room allows me to rejuvenate and start fresh. Everyone needs a PAUSE. There is nothing selfish about it. I hope this has encourage you and your readers on ways to release the things in life and put the world on pause.
