My how time flies.
Loud and Clear Records is officially 5 years old as of today.
The experience of running this label for the last 5 years is too immense to competely sum up in words. All I can say is that it has been amazing on more levels than I knew existed.
We will be celebrating a few months late this year... but needless to say, it will be a doozy.
Loud and Clear Records 5th Birthday Party
Saturday April 21st
@ the Casbah
Featuring:
Goodbye Blue Monday
Manuok
neonthief
and the mighty return of COMFORTABLE FOR YOU
Thank you to all the bands and supporters (Caley and Rob!) I have worked with. We have all become family, friends, bandmates, and/or highway exploring adventurers.
Thank you to my parents for their unwavering support.
Thank you to my dad for his amazing demonstration of strength, hope, and determination dealing with paralysis caused by a broken vertebrae. While his spirit has been an inspiration, his ordeal has been a powerful reminder of how each day has to be lived to the fullest.
For the last six months I have pondered my role in music, and the future of this little label that could. While I am not sure what exactly the future of Loud and Clear holds, I do know this:
I fucking love the music we have put out, and I will always do whatever I can to hold it's place in history.
Goodbye Blue Monday, Comfortable for You, Manuok, Via Satellite, Adam Gnade, and neonthief have all released music that I will stand by for the rest of my life. I dare anyone to say their releases have been anything other than passionate, refreshingly creative, and most importantly, complete unaffected by current trends.
Give me a few months to get my shit together. By the time this party goes off in April, I am going to have some wicked awesome plans.

PS: seriously, thanks to Caley Cook and Rob Queenin for being the most helpful people on the planet.
