I am prompted to blog about what I just heard another OTHER PR who isn't of the hip hop culture call what her clients did to me in a business matter NIGGA Buisness! Many of you pay top dollar to folk who are not of or in our culture to put you on. I know so many of you who will accept anything and pay tons of money to folk who are NOT of our culture....do nothing to uplift our culture...because you think its a good look. I have watched the clients they promote and i see them have nothing to show for the $80k paid to this one and $50k to that one...you hire them because they dumb themselves down to deal with you. You like to hear them speak ebonics in business meetings and settings, you say "that's real"! You like to toot a line with them or even engage in a sexual relationship unlike THIS sister will. See the sisters like me, we have to work hard...look the part, act the part, speak the part, be the part and when we have all that you still wanna talk shit, penny pinch me out of my just due and require me to work 24 hours, geet you in the clubs, meet you atthe studio, deal with your drug induced mood swing, crimnal tendicies and ignorant ass baby mommas and at a moment's notice with a smile on my face. Just Plain ole stupid.
Recently I heard another "popular" and popular being the key word here not professional ...refer to her clients conduct as "NIGGA Business." Everyone who knows me...knows that I can cuss like a sailor, especially when I am trying to drive my point home...but the one thing I would NEVER do as PR is talk down or even be racially offensive to or about my clients to my collegues or the media. I mean its been days I have been soooo mad at BG or J Anthony Brown for blowing off an interview, but not once would I utter a word to the journalist about him doing NIGGA BUISINESS. First of all, if he is my client there must be a professional respect for the artist and his craft. I must also respect the fact that the rule of PR is nothing is OFF THE RECORD and finally I need to respect the ones who break bread with me and pay my bills.
Why in the fuck do you all pay these "OTHERS" to represent you when they don't even respect you? Why do you spend tons of money you earned selling DOPE in OUR communities for covers of magazines that NEVER acknowledge BLACK HISTORY MONTH let alone BLACK MUSIC MONTH! Open up your favorite publication right now, was there Jena 6 coverage or coverage about police brutality or any issues for that matter that plague our communities? Is Obama on the cover dam it????? Prolly not!!! Have you ever seen their logo, likeness or image on anything positive in our communities...hell no...just groupie confessions that break down familes (black familes) and beef shit that results in death or they give events that ALWAYS has some form of violence involved....but your dumb asses flock there but wanna give me flack about hosting an event called T.H.U.G awards honoring those True to His/her Urban Genuis....you boycott the acronym but support other 4-5 letter word award shows that shoud really be called the thug awards...grown ass men fighting. Not one incident happened at the THUG Awards now called the Urban Genuis Awards...in fact we opened with the Black National Anthem, gave a tribute to Sean Bell speaking out against excessive police force and we involved the kids from start to finish...even my host took time to tell Shawty Lo to kill the beef with TIP...if you google THUG awards..thats what comes up....but yet you flock to cities behind certain events that give less of a dam about you...

Scholars will agree that the absolute worst thing that EVER happened to the black community is intergration. No I am not prejudiced..most of my best friends are white..lol...I always wanted to say that..lol...but I am pro black...just not anti-white. I am not for patronizing others as much as I am about patronizing black businesses...like it or not Obama has my support first and foremost because he is black and he understands my issues. Further, he understands how to function as a bi racial ...growing up in NOLA is much like that..dark skin vs light skin...he knows how to interact with all people and that to me...qualifies him most..not many other races can say that..white folk have NEVER been black nd deny any and everything in them that may be black and associates them with blackness. Only recently have OTHER races began to acknowledge the black in them....Sally Hemmings was the best kept secret in the legacy of Thomas Jefferson, but it is sidelined...Jefferson fucked black women yet he NEVER cared for our people...sleeping with my grandmother didnt HELP him to run a better country or to understand or empathize with us...he just used her and the many other slaves for selfish reasons...his LOVE for Sally didn't prompthim to free anybody nor see that their legacy free. Chinese folk, Hispanics...no other race possesses that type of understanding except us...We accept everybody...we love to be around white folk and do what they do, live like they live, shop where they shop...but I NEVER see white folk school shopping at the neighorhood hip hop shop. You figure.....you wanna buy Ed Hardy, Polo and True Religion while Karl Kani and FUBU died giving you something to be proud of... say it with me.....SSSSSTTTTOOOOOPPPPIIIDDD!

Should all people be able to get along and work together for the common good yes...but what is so hot about going to OTHER communities to spend your money yet the community you live in and come from ....you tear it down? You ride around in a car with rims, and tv's all through it but you rent an apartment in the project. The project has no value and nor does that police attraction. Just plain ole stupid! You throw up money in the club, yet your MOST PROMISING family member is uneducated ...maybe you can buy a college education for a young sister or brother with those same 30 stacks....
You beef... you beef ....you beef ....you beef and then you hire an OTHER to fuel it for you causing more harm than good ...someone ends up dead or even worse some child emulates your fake ass and we lose even greater!

No you trifle ass person, I will NOT accept you as a client when you are years behind on child support or if you sold drugs and guns to my sisters and brothers to pay me...I will not be so selfish as to pay my bills and advance my life on the backs of others...and I will NOT buy a cent of advertising on your behalf in a magazine, website or any media outlet for that matter..that is chipping away at our community...you don't even think about spending your monies in StreetMasters, The Atlanta Voice, Data News, Hot Block, or Word on the Streets, Rocharder, Streetatlk etc....who represents YOUR DUMB ASS...no you got to go out and find OTHERS to validate who you are.
Since the days of slavery...it is documented that WE sold each other out! No slave came from Africa willingly...it was a black selfish person who made a deal with THE MAN to help to sell and capture slaves to take on the mission to America...It has always been documented that we can always be pit against each other...we can always be bought and sold wodden nickels...who is the slave master over your life?
