ok, so i just had a real epiphany! all of the questionably autobiographical lyrics on prototype were not autobiographical at the time but were rather prophetic... meaning: what i wrote about my life in fantasy back in '98 became a reality in one way or another. so i'm just wondering if i willed these things on myself. should i be that careful about what i write?!! i can take full responsibility in a very buddhistic way for the turn of events in my life. however, i'm wondering if i willed some of those lyrics to be true to my own personal experiences in an effort to authenticate my artistry? quite simply, i think that i was just running those 'feelings' for soooo ong and then acting out those 'feelings' that some things were bound to happen. it's not so dissimilar to method acting. ok, all this 'process' talk is making me sound like a pretentious art school wanker! i'm venturing into ALANIS MORRISETTE self-help territory! i'm stopping..... P.S. the interview has been filmed and will be posted soon. dunno how much will end up on the cutting room floor since it'll have to be edited down to 4 minutes flat! either way, i thank all of u who posted questions and continue to maintain an interest in my career and life. it's truly always an honor to serve you!
