recorded and produced in the kitchen of xiu xiu's jamie stewart, cities vs submarines is a ten minute journey into aria jalali's most vivid, reoccurring dreams. railcars is an attempt to bring the images that have haunted aria's mind to life using drum boxes, synths, and noise pedals with sentiments recreated in lyrical form.

It will be released as a 500-run 7" vinyl as well as digitally, through Gold Robot Records, based in Berkeley, CA.

oh yes. i totally should have mentioned this,

all vinyls come with free mp3 downloads.

and if you think about it, its about the same cost for a record as the itunes download, so you might as well just order a record and have both. even if you dont have a record player, you can keep the mp3s, then give the record to a friend, or use it as a coaster or frisbee or something.
