YOOOOOO!!!

What up everybody!?! I been on my GRIZZLE so its been a minute! Plus why should myspace get all the traffic? You gotta join AHH's community where we go back and forth all day!

So, i am looking at the Discovery Channel's show about stalkers...and guess what..I fit the description of a stalker!

1) I obsess about people i never met
2) self centered
3) I dominate and try to conquer people
4) socially inept (jeez!)
5) i used the TV/internet to escape reality

Now, the one thing i dont do is the violence part...Lil Wayne has no need to worry about him dating lauren london. I don't approve but...what can i do? Sheeeesh! Never been to a mental hospital yet though...shout out! I lost all year this year....lol.

Now that thats out the way, WHAT'S UP?

What is the consensus on the year 2007?
I'm thinking is a pretty decent year. There has been a good amount of music this year, under and over ground. i'm not mad at the 4th quarter or the summer. Jayz, Ghost, talib...

Was it me or did the South lose a little steam this year?

Nobody stepped in to replace the South or nothing. IT seems the West is quieter than ever this year. The mid-West is doing OK...you know Kanye, Lupe..some others.

Shout out to Kanye on a great, tragic year. Sometimes i question these things. i remember when Bill Cosby's son was murdered. Mike Jordan's dad....i wonder.

Anyway, on the year....i think its a good year, hip-hop got back to the essence a little bit. the political rappers are really sleeping at the wheel though. i am very interested in getting some political hip hop. if we can have soulja boy and these other guys, why not.

Shout out to KATE! she got me to do this. I tried to leave a comment on some of your pages and myspace was buggin saying we werent friends. I'm like, i KNOW i'm friends with Kate. Thats wack!

What else is good? Shout out to Jason Whitlock. that dude is a self hating turncoat. I just wanted to say that. Hip-Hop didnt create anything. Hip-Hop ain't perfect, but whats going on in america as been a long time coming. you gotta do people right and the people will do you right. Do them wrong and you will have a mess. I think "chickens roosting" applies here.

Shout out to barack! Shout out to hillary. Rudy Guiliani sucks (you cant have a president that wears dresses!) I mean, Hoover did, but thats another story.

anyway, i am all over the place.

CHUCK D FOR PRESIDENT!

@ Ben not sure what you've been listening to? Talib, Common, Kanye all had dope albums come out this year and than plenty more music that came out and then no and then... And, I don't know enough about Jason Whitlock to call him a damn fool, but I have heard his theory of the Black KKK, and I'm not ready to dismiss it because there are plenty of ni@@as with the ER that always fuck up shit for the rest of us. However, he does tend to put the blame on Hip Hop way too much instead of dealing with the environment/social issues that are the root of the problem. Anyway, stay up brethren and keep killin' em...

exactly...there are a lotta dope album that came out...not hardly a wack year, dont forget ghostface, freeway, jayz and others and that just from the East/midwest

the notion of a black kkk only can come from somebody looking to reorientate people to what the kkk really is...its also the voice of a self-hating turncoat.

maybe it's just me, but even the high-anticipated albums were like five spin listens, not a fan of the talib/common set, kanye's was good for a few spins, but it was my least favorite album he's done, plus, that's all power 106 plays on air so i'm tired of hearing the same few tracks over and over and over and over... even curtis was only a few spin listen, and i liked the album! ha! he went back to some of his old school shit, but it was still just boring... maybe i'm just ready for something new... the same old shit just doesn't do it for me like it used to... (i do have to say, Cam's PE was hot... and i thought Jim Jones' American Gangsta was better than Jay-Zs!)... maybe i'm just losing my mind...

Cam's intro alone on PE was better than nearly anything that dropped this year. Stack was supposed to bring the East Coast back. now Jim has totally defected. P's in Prison. Jada's getting dissed at live shows by his new label's in house DJ. 50's doing tracks with Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke and "supposedly" Lindsay Lohan. Wu-Tang can't keep it together long enough to put out one fucking album. Jay-Z continues to tarnish his legacy by just waking up in the morning. Nas? uhhh. . .exactly. wait a minute, shhhhhhh. . . . i think i just heard Cassidy and Freeway drop albums. no, that was just the rats in my apartment. what the fuck!?!?!? Styles P. and Beans better bring that shit.

btw, rap sucks. The Beatles don't.

easy,

LOL @ Kate using "Ninja" My friends and I wear that out!!! LOVE IT!

Also, '07 really was a pretty decent year musically. Not just hip hop, but rock picked up some steam... Amy, Mark Ronson, and Lily Allen all have me packing my bags for London.

This year I took myself off a self-imposed "music protest" where I refused to buy CD's...

Shouts to Soul Music this year too... Eric Roberson, Rahsaan Patterson, Conya Doss... all good albums.

illseed.com ?! Wowzers...

Jason Whitloc is an uncle tom, trying to use our termanology and yet talk down on our generation, when he grew up they were people talking down about his generation and I'm pretty sure when were in our 40s and 50s, some ignorant people will do the same...........

LIL WAYNE - I THINK HE GOT SKILLS BUT IM MAD THAT HE GOT OUR GIRL...

GLAD TO SEE YOUR BACK.

I GOT ONE FAVOR TO ASK THOUGH. LAST YEAR YOU GRACED MY PAGE WITH SOME KIND WORDS FOR MY TRACKS. WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO DO THE SAME BEFORE THE END OF THIS YEAR? I WENT IN A NEW DIRECTION W/ THESSE

Hey man, I wouldn't go so far as to call it a pretty decent year, other than a few highlights (Jay, Kanye, Common) I think there's been a lot of trash this year, I dont think i need to state the obvious names! 2 of my favourite albums this year have been Collie Budz and Alicia Keys (Though i dont feel Alicia's lives up to her previous)

Hopefully (if you listen to the rumours) 2008 could/should be a good year for hip hop. Will Em's & Dre's albums ever see the light of day? Will Papoose stop making mixtapes long enough to make an album? Will Game make an album that doesnt sound like his previous 2 (including name drops)? Will Lil Wayne's Carter III live upto the hype (So many leaks!)? But above all will we get a half way decent track from skillz other than 'The Wrap up'

But you me i aint tryna hate, lets see what happens in 2008.

Stay on the Grind

it all revolves around the house that Russ built, aka the same house that your almighty Hov aims to single handedly destroy (that's word to Curtis*snitch). onsumreeeelshit though, David Banner is killing it lyrically right now. as a matter of fact, i'm going to go out on a limb and say that he did more for the entire rap game - lyrically AND politically - than any other active rapper has done for his/her genre in a long fucking time. i mean, am i the only one listening to his latest tracks that have been leaked from his upcoming album? oh yeah, Outkast needs to quit fucking with our emotions and just put out another classic album for fucks' sake. no more movie soundtrack bullshit. and while we're on the South, somebody please check Wayne into a rehab clinic before he turns into the next Amy Winehouse. i mean, i sincerely feel like he's one of the best - if not THEEEE best - out doing it right now. (btw, is 'pause' played out? cause if not, then insert 'pause' after last statement. otherwise disregard.) and i don't even like the South like that.

now on to more important issues. . . . The EAST COAST!!!!! 2007 really sucked for the home team. "American Gangster" aka "The Blueprint XII". Somebody tell Jerry Rice that fans of the sport respect legacies more than stats. anyways, i recently saw this Stack Bundles interview where he brought up a good point that major New York/East Coast labels haven't signed ANYONE of relevance since . . . . . . Joe Budden. hmmmm. marinate on that shit. funny thing is that it's December 2007, and here we lonely East Coasters sit basically praying that the Wu-Tang Clan, in all of thier ederly splendor, can salvage a little dignity for us in the cold of winter. jokes on us. ahahahahahaahahaahahahah!!!!!!!!!!

rap music sucks. listen to Pink Floyd and Radiohead.

easy,

p.s. welcome back Mr. Seed. we've been waiting.

anyone heard the 50 interview on the shade 45 station? i know, i know... everyone on this blog hates 50, but damnit if he isn't funny as shit! that dude keeps me rollin' for days... and i'm not laughing at him, but with him! i'll have to agree with his most relevant point, in that jay-z used all the def jam marketing money for his american gangsta lp, so as curtis puts it, 'don't be coming out in the next two months on def jam... ain't no one gonna sell over 300,000...' just listen to the interview and remember why we all used to love 50 so much... for being the damn joker of rap...and on the subject of wu... how much i really want that album to rock and pick up the last month of the year... that shit's gonna flop harder than a fat dude on a diving board... when's a dj khalid album gonna drop? 'and i wear my pants below my waist!'... new classic right there...

LIL WAYNE "THE BEST OUT, IF NOT THEEEEE BEST"??? WOW THATS SO FUCKIN LAUGHABLE.IMJUST SAYIN, IF HIP HOP SHUT DOWN RIGHT NOW AND ITS ALL SAID AND DONE, THERE WOULDNT BE any MENTION OF ANY SOUTHERN ARTISTS.HOW MANY LEGITIMATE CLASSIC ALBUMS CAME OUT OF THE SOUTH SINCE THEIR "DOMINANCE" BEGAN? (REST MY CASE) THE SOUTH AINT NEVER DOMINATE SHIT IN MY BOOK. I BEEN LISTENING TO HIP HOP SINCE 1985, FROM THE BEASTIE BOYS AND RUN DMC ON TILL CURRENT. EVEN THE BAY AREA MADE BETTER MUSIC IN THEIR 1990'S RUN. I NEVER BEEN BAISED TOWARD ANY COAST OR REGION. I THINK BY NOW I CAN PRETTY MUCH DETERMINE WHO HAS SKILLS AND WHO DOESNT. EVEN CATS I DONT REALLY PREFER, I CAN STILL SAY THEY GOT SKILLS.
I USED TO THINK T.I. WAS OVERHYPED,BUT HE CAME CORRECT ON SEVERAL SINGLES THE LAST COUPLE YEARS. JEEZEY WASNT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING AS GOOD AS ADVERTIZED. THEN LIL WAYNE IS A COMPLETELY "MEDIA MANUFACTERED" SUPERSTAR. HE SAYS HE'S BEEN IN THE GAME 15 YEARS, BUT WHERES HIS "DOGGY STYLE, ILLMATIC OR READY TO DIE"??? SHOULDNT HE ALREADY HAVE ONE? COUNTLESS MIXTAPES AND GUEST APPEARANCES DO NOT MAKE U THE HOTTEST IN THE GAME. AS FAR AS BEST LYRICIST, AS LONG AS NAS, COMMON,JAY Z, CATS LIKE THAT, ARE RELEVANT, LIL WAYNE DOESNT EVEN MAKE THE TOP 25. THEN U GOT CATS LIKE CHINO XL, RASS KASS, CANIBUS, CROOKED I, SLY BOOGY OR PAPOOSE WHO CAN RIP THAT DUDE 2 NEW ASSHOLES, ANY DAY OF THE WEEK HOMIE.LETS GET WAYNE ON THE WAKE UP SHOW,IN A CYPHER WITH THE BIG BOYS.... SOUTH IS KILLING HIP HOP BY LOWERING THE CREATIVE BAR SEVERELY. SAD THING ABOUT IT IS THAT WEEZY IS BUYING ALL THE HYPE ABOUT HIMSELF, COMPAREIN HIMSELF TO M.L.K, AND MALCOM X. LMAO!!! AS LONG AS PEOPLE KEEP SUPPORTIN THESE MINIMALLY TALENTED "ARTISTS", HIP HOP IS GONNA STAY DEAD. I AINT HATING, I JUST CALL IT LIKE I SEE IT.......1
