Bands
SKYLINE DOSSIER
Reading's best kept secret Wonderful old school flavored psych-freakbeat-prog.
Dan their lead singer is a complete star in the live arena. Like a local Frank Black. A
band who stick up two fingers up at fashion. They are the new breed. Awesome live.

HOLD YOUR HORSE IS
Number three hail from Fleet. This band ROAR!Excellent band alert. Been
recording with Gordon Mills (of Keane fame) But don't let that put you
off. These kids are full on rock, with a punk coating. Championed by
Steve Lamacq and Tom Robinson
"Spiky three-piece who jerk their guitar riffs around like an epileptic at the Blackpool illuminations." Tastyfanzine.
"...and just in case you were thinking of tuning out ‘cause that wasn't
quite loud enough for you, woah Hold Your Horse Is! ... thrashing their
guitars like a mad axe man who has got out of bed, on the wrong side!’"
Steve Lamacq of BBC Radio 1.

MARTY CAIN
Discovered via myspace. We are both very excited about a) meeting this
18 year old b) seeing him play live Marty deals in naive-real folk
punk. He sings about Jan 1st, you screwing up his dream;your heart is
in his lunch box. Marty Cain is from the middle of nowhere of the USA.
He is currently studying in London. We think he should be bigger than
Beck
