Current mood:  adventurous

We are proud to be hosting three fantastic bands across three consecutive nights.

WEDNESDAY APRIL 22ND @ MAD FERRET

Yes, wowza! JENIFEREVER are playing at the Mad Ferret! The band a quartet from Uppsala, Sweden. And this is part of their European tour. Their music has dream-like qualities uncommon in most typical post-rock. It's more ambient, and often more affecting, than a lot of what passes for post-rock. For comparisons, think Sigur Rós or The Appleseed Cast. They are an amazing live band. Their brand new album 'Spring Tides' is released in mid-April to coincide with the tour.
Support on the night comes from Kyte, Capulet and Electric Free Time Machine.

THURSDAY APRIL 23RD @ MAD FERRET

We are proud to announce GRAMMATICS will be doing a special performance. The band have added the one off date in between their UK tour with Rolo Tomassi and Pulled Apart By Horses. Later this year they are undertaking an arena tour in support of Bloc Party.
They have just released their self-titled album 'Grammatics' to critical acclaim. Complicated pop music. Drunken macabre gypsy cabaret. Beautiful dissonance. Car-sickness. Arthritic fingers. Rheumatics. RSI. Post-Pop. Meanwood Road at night. With support from Spokes, Bikini Black Special and Chaotix.
