Where? Doing What? Why haven't you called?  lol

These are the questions I am getting from friends, fans, and family.  It has been a long and restful summer.  Thankfully, nobody was terribly sunburned or overworked.  :)  A lot of talk has come about within the band about where to go from here.  Let me bring you up to speed.

Dallas is a tough city to play in for a rock band.  Yes, I'll stick with regular rock as to include the thousands of other bands in this area that struggle just as we do to get their name out, etc.  Since the release of June Ends Now in February, the headcount at shows has dropped to about 2 or 3 folks .  Music sales is next to zero.  Our EP Collusion hasnt sold a copy since last year.  I know I know, such negatives.  This is the dilemma.  No fans at shows = no call backs for opening or headlining slots at large or small venues in DFW.  No music sales = no word of mouth promotion from fans.  I think we had done a great job with our marketing to date, but I could be totally off on this.

This isn't a pity party blog.  Those of you that know me personally or have read these in the past know that I am straight to the point.  No messing around.  We have a blast doingn what we do, otherwise we wouldn't keep at it despite the odds.  We know its getting expensive to pay cover at a club to see your favorite band for all of 30 minutes, on top of the overblown drink prices.  Stuff like this is normal for everyone.

SO... we are still working on new material, and having fun, as friends and bandmates.  New material will flow like normal.  We may not hit the pavement as hard as we have in the past, but we will still walk forward.

We recently moved out of our rehearsal space in Dallas. Big thanks to Vince at Universal Rehearsal for being such a fantastic landlord over the past few years.  That man is one of the greats.  Any of you looking for rented rehearsal space should visit him for sure.  We have set up various small practice spaces at our houses, and are focusing on experimenting with many new types of sounds to bring out our best.

So keep hanging on like ya do.  We love that you, whomever you are, continue to support us regardless of the times.  Thank you so very much, and we will post again soon.  Feedback is very much welcome, as you are a big drive in what we do and create.

Love always,

Zac - 1000 Miles From Home

P.A.R.K. is my acoustic project and Salvation Trigger is a metal/punk band that i've been singing for and writing songs with for a while now tho we suck so terribly bad. lol. anyways... i recently lost everything i owned including my 13 year collection of local rock memorablia, err go all my TMFH gear is gone... :( everything. 13 yrs worth. gone. :(  the most sad thing to happen to the ROK goddess ever... anyways... i still love you and i love the new song too.
