2009

We finished recording the songs for our upcoming 7" with John Griffin at Sugar Hill Studios and will starting mixing sometime next week. As soon as it's mastered we'll post it and I can't wait for everyone to hear it. Praying for SXSW but who knows. Here are the releases we have planned

7"
These are songs we've been playing live for about a year now, so we're clumping these 2 songs together since they won't go with anything else. Tentatively titled 'Jam' and 'Groovin'. They're a little different, but we feel its the best music we've put out so hopefully people will like it. You should expect to see it around March.

Morning Saints EP
We've been sitting on these songs for a while. They're very stripped down and old timey. Hopefully it'll be released early summer.

Bjork Covers
We were really happy with the way these songs turned out and want to record them mostly for ourselves. We're not sure on the legalities of the covers so we will probably give them out for free or with the purchase of something. And those should be released around the same time as Morning Saints.

In between all that there will probably be another Texas tour or so. Thanks again.

Correction: None of us are cool. All of us actually do think you are shitty though.

No..thank you! We're a little slow here in SA, but it's great to finally become acquainted with all that is Buxton. Hey...can you really give Richard ALL the credit for ChaChos? If I remember correctly, he was leaning toward Lulu's. Just Kidding. Here's to a hugely successful, Buxton-filled 2009.

Any chance you will be touring in the Houston or Spring area in Feb. Or March? And where can I get CD's and other items of yours?
