This could be the single most important issue facing the American nation, bigger than
health care, bigger than cap and trade, and worth every citizen’s
focused attention.
The international climate negotiations, of COP!
Why don't you know about this? It's simply because the media has failed
to give it much attention. hmm, why might that be?, is it so our
president can make the most important decision of the century without
us knowing about it until its too late?
Whats going on? I'm glad you asked. Due to all the fuss about global
warming, the U.N. is making every nation attend a conference where an
agreement will be made that will include the taxing of American citizens
as well as citizens of other countries for their "carbon footprint" and
banning some of our recreational pastimes. This agreement will include
a treaty, which if signed, will create a world government to enforce
and control these carbon taxes, which include taxes on every aspect of
your daily life, from major corporations, power plants, livestock, all
the way down to the ban of certain TV's, gas heaters, and it even goes
all the way to creating a carbon tax for all types of gatherings,
venues, concerts, raves, football games, the Olympics? That means you
will be taxed for merely traveling and breathing.
Ah yes, such an opportunity to tax the people, the only problem is that its not justified by the scientific method.
Since the whole ordeal is focused on global warming, one must ask, does
global warming even exist? Is it real? Where is the proof of global
warming?
I'm glad you asked! It is very unfortunate that most people say they
believe global warming is real, and these same people have failed to do
the research necessary to come to any conclusion. Instead they quote
information given to us by the media, yes, the same media who gave us
their take on 911, the war on terror, the presidential debates and the banker bailouts. These
people follow a belief system which contradicts the scientific method.
In order to be a scientist, you can't believe anything your told, you
have to do research, field tests, process data, all of which have
nothing to do with any kind of belief, so if anybody tells you that they believe global
warming is real, don't believe them because they are not a scientist.
The only people on this planet that can give us a real answer to the
question is the scientists, and right now there is a debate between
scientists trying to find the answer to that very question. What the
scientists know is that for the past 3,000 years the global
temperatures show a flux of global climate change. The global
temperatures show us coming out of an ice age, and before the Little
Ice Age was the Medieval Warm Period, a time when global temperatures
were far warmer than our current global temperatures. Scientists of
every stripe are reporting global temperatures cooling, carbon
footprints getting adsorbed, all while some scientists are bent on
global warming. Ice caps have melted while other ice caps have shown
significant growth. Water has been redistributed across the planet, the
complete evaporation of lakes and formation of new lakes.
Global warming or global cooling is still a current scientific debate,
so any such political conference / agreement / treaty should be ignored until the scientists
have agreed amongst themselves. Regardless of whether global warming is taking place or caused to any
degree by human activity, we do not want a global government empowered
to tax Americans without elected representation or anything analogous
to constitutional protections. The Founding Fathers would roll over in
their graves if they knew their progeny allowed a foreign power such
authority, effectively undoing their every effort in an act of
Anti-American Revolution. If that is our imminent course, we need to put all else on hold and
focus on stopping it. If American sovereignty is ceded, all other
debate is irrelevant.
The current administration and the Democratic majority in Congress has
shown little regard for the will of the people. They’re trying to pass
a serious government agenda, and serious taxation and burdens on future
generations. How do we stop our president from signing any such treaty?
I'm glad you asked! :) The only way to stop this treaty from being
signed is to get onto your representatives, both in the US Senate where
the bill has
yet to go through (you can try and stop that) and in [the House], and
get them to demand their right of audience (which they all have) with
the president and tell him about this treaty.
Get onto the media, tell them about this treaty. If they go to
www.wattsupwiththat.com, they will find (if they look carefully enough)
a copy of that treaty.
Let the press tell the people that their democracy is about to be taken
away for no good purpose, at least [with] no scientific basis [in
reference to climate change]. Tell the press to say this. Tell the
press to say that, even if there is a problem [with climate change],
you don’t want your democracy taken away.
If global warming is such a crisis, taxing won't fix anything!!! If
global warming is found to be caused by human activity, the only way to
stop it is by stopping the activities causing global warming, not by
discouraging these human activities by slapping a tax on the activities
that will supposedly end all life on earth!!!! Carbon taxes will still
allow global warming to continue to some degree, whether the global
warming is either caused by human activity or other natural causes,
such as the global climate flux that we've known about for 3,000 years.
Now I'm not a scientist, I'm just a musician, so in addition, I
encourage all of you to do some research for yourselves. You can start
by searching Google for the terms, global warming, global cooling,
global temperatures, Little Ice Age, Medieval Warm Period, carbon
taxes, climate change treaty of Copenhagen, an inconvenient truth, the
great global warming swindle, the list of terms go on and on, and your
research is sure to prove that global warming is still in a scientific
debate, which must be resolved before anymore politics become more
important than science, and before anymore myths are forced to be
believed rather than processed with the scientific method.
