Current mood:  lethargic
I took the Ark T 16-track down to the Port Mahon on Tuesday night, and we recorded the set there. It sounded pretty good on first listening, when I have a chance to do some proper mixes I may put a song or two up here. Thanks to everyone who came down, and especially for the stadium-like cheers on the introduction of Footprints on the Moon

While I had the available recording technology at home, it seemed rude not to make the most of it, so I set about recording Little Jay, a jaunty little tune I wrote for my son. With harmonica, 3 mandolins (electric and acoustic), mandola, guitar and various percussion, plus an appearance from Jay himself on shakey egg and incidental vocals. I like to think it sounds like an unlikely combination of Mike Oldfield and Bagpuss- I guess I'll just have to put it up here too
