Hey all I'm back. Sorry for the extended absence, but I had a busy week last week. I performed at Soho on Monday, Improv on Tuesday, Bossa on Thursday, and Baltimore on Saturday. (And wrapped a present for a baby shower which took me like 18 hours).

Soho went well, but unfortunately, I completely f*cked up my performance on Tuesday at the Improv. The judges took pity on me and gave me third place, when I actually deserved to be thrown into the street. So let's just say I learned some valuable lessons and move on, shall we?

On to happier occasions - last night I emceed Baltimore Block Party! It was a 3-hour gig where I got to do over 15 minutes of comedy for more than 5,000 people at an outside venue. It was totally cool. The crowd was fantastic and at one point were chanting my name, "Chris Doucette! Chris Doucette!" (Sure, I asked them to do it, but still it was cool.) Forget Cleveland. Baltimore rocks!

I introduced the other performers like Since, The Pos Senda, and Ultra Nate.

Oh yeah, and 80's teen sensation TIFFANY.

I look like hell, but in my defense, I had been out in the sun working the crowd for the two previous hours. You'd look pretty haggard, too. Check out my website for the photos (I'd post them here but MySpace refuses to make things easier for people using FireFox on a Mac).

So, last week had some ups and downs, but it ended on an up so I'll take it. Go, Baltimore, go!
